The HSK (Level IV) is intended for students who have mastered 1,200 commonly used words. As everyone knows, the written test of new HSK exam consists of levels from one to six. The requirements for students’ vocabulary are different with each level. As the level rises, so does the requirements. For example, HSK level 3 requires students’ vocabulary to reach 600 words, and HSK level 4 requires 1,200 words.
