本书充分考虑了中职生的学习基础和特，突出实用性和适用性。全书配图生动形象，语言地道，语境贴近生活，知识层次分明，由浅深，是一本操作性很强的口语教材。全书共11个单元，每单元分为A、B两节，内容都围绕同一个话题，从A到B难度递增。A分为两部分，B分为三部分，A和B前两部分结构一致。*部分为朗读短文，要求大家学习朗读技巧，正确朗读，并为后面的学习做一定的词汇和句子储备。第二部分为看图回答三个问题，其设计思想是:*问就图片实际回答问题;第二问基于图片解决其涉及的相关问题;第三问是基于本部分主题以解决实际生活中涉及的问题。为训练学生的实际操作能力，B小节增加了第三部分———活动部分，要求根据所给语境编对话或情景剧并表演。通过课本由浅深的内容，行有序的口语训练，从而提升口语能力。<br/>【作者】<br/>赵冬菊，成都市中和职业学校高级教师，英语教育硕士，成都高新区英语学科带头人，英语教研组长。主持有省级课题《模块化教学在职高英语教学中的应用》、*课题《基于语音测评云的英语口语考试评分系统与学习系统应用研究》等，都已结题。主编有校本教材《中职英语口语训练手册》，在学校使用多年，得到了学生和专业教师的一致认可。此外，还参与了成都市中职英语读本《See me, See you》的编写。<br/>
