本规范适用于火力发电厂范围内输送蒸汽、水、气和易燃易爆、有毒及腐蚀性液体或气体等介质的管道设计。不适用于下列管道设计:1制造厂成套设计的设备或机器所属的管道;2锅炉烟风煤粉系统管道;3采暖通风与空气调节的管道及非圆形截面的管道;4地下或室内给排水及消防给水管道;5泡沫、二氧化碳及其他灭火系统的管道;6各种塔、建筑构架、贮罐、机械设备和基础用的管道;7核电站管道。本规范共分14章和6个附录,具体技术内容包括:总则,术语和符号,设计条件和设计基准,材料,管道组成件的选用,管道组成件的强度,管径选择及水力计算,管道布置,管道的应力分析计算,管道支吊架,管道的焊接,管道的检验和试验,保温、隔声、防腐和油漆,管道系统的超压保护。
