　　《中国大历史》是吕思勉先生所著的一部中国通史。该书是抗日战争时期上海沦为“孤岛”的时候，为适应当时大学教学的需要而编写的。全书共分上下两编，上编是中国文化史，叙述了中国社会经济制度、政治制度与文化学术的历史发展情况及其特，涉及范围广博。下编是中国政治史，讲述了中国历史的演变以及历史重大事件，叙述简明扼要。本书叙述范围广博，取材简明精当，脉络流贯，议论风发，是不可多得的史学著作。       《吕著中国近代史》分为五个部分，包括《中国近代史讲义》《中国近世史前编》《中国近百年史概说》《中国近世文化史补编》和《日俄战争》。前三个部分内容基本上一致，都是就同一内容作者在不同时期的讲义集结而成。后两部分则是就前一部分在某些领域的一步深化详解。本书写作范围广博，取精用弘，多有独到之处，叙述简明精当，脉络流贯，议论风发，对一般读者熟悉中国近代史能起到非常积极的效果。      《中国史纲》共分十一章，叙述了我国从商到东汉初年大约1700年的历史，作者在书中对商朝到东汉初年里的重要人物、重大事件、基本思想、社会生活、历史变化行了精炼的叙述。本书的撰写，在当时是作为历史教科书的一种读本（《中国史纲》部），故而在形式上生动活泼，易读解，无晦涩呆板之感，但同时又富含较高的思想内涵和理论深度。
