Margaret Atwood valós t?rténelmi eseményen alapuló regénye felkerült a Man Booker-díj shortlistjére, és 2017-ben tévésorozat készült bel?le.

?i vag lamentabil?. Frazele sunt scurte ?i nu intr? b?t?nd la u??, ci tr?ntind-o de perete. Apoi, te surprinde tema predilect? a c?r?ii: amantl?curile, iubirile frugale, rela?iile interzise, tot tac?mul. Practic, Corina omoar? Are curaj, ?are ou?“, cum s-ar spune. ?Zilele aman?ilor“ e o carte pentru dezinhiba?i. Iar vr?jitoria nu-i deloc exclus?. A, ?tiu. Literatur? de?teapt?. (Ana Barton)O lectur? care curge u?or, cu un limbaj direct ?i frust, perfect adaptat subiectului. Public Speaking for Authors, Creatives and Other Introverts
¥60.96
Are you an introverted author or creative? Do you want to improve your public speaking ability? As creatives in a crowded world, we can no longer sit in our rooms, creating alone, if we want a viable income. Increasingly, we have to be out there in the world, sharing our knowledge and being visible in order to have a successful career. Public speaking can be an extra income stream, or can form an integral part of your marketing. It's also a good idea to plan for success and authors/creatives often have to speak when they become well-known, so it's best to start practicing earlier. This book is a starter pack and an easy reference guide with the information that you need the most to speak confidently and professionally in public. And, although some chapters have specific tips for introverts, much of this information will be useful for anyone who is interested in public speaking, regardless of their personality type. In this book, I'll share everything that I know as a professional speaker and introverted author-entrepreneur. The book contains lots of tips about public speaking in general, based on my own experience over the last five years. In addition, I cover some specific points that creative introverts need to consider as speakers. You can read this book from start to finish, but you can also dip in and out, as each chapter contains succinct tips that you'll need at different times on your journey. In this book, you will find: Part 1 goes into the practicalities of speaking: types of speaking, preparation, your actual talk, and what happens afterwards. Part 2 is about some of the psychological aspects of speaking: your mindset, authenticity, confidence, and tackling the inevitable anxiety, which we all feel. Part 3 discusses the business side of speaking: financials, marketing, and how to create multiple streams of income. Part 4 contains interviews with three fantastic professional speakers, each from a different market, to give you a variation in perspective. Mark McGuinness is an introvert, Clare Edwards is an extrovert and Alastair Humphreys sits somewhere in the middle.? There are also videos, audio and extra image-formatted transcripts, so you can experience this information in other modes if you prefer. The Appendices contain resources that may be useful in your speaking journey, including my own speaking checklist and booking form, example sales page and a series of questions for you to answer that will kickstart your public speaking.??? I’m an author and professional speaker, and I’m also an introvert. I often get asked how I do what I do, when our natural tendency is to relish being alone and creative, not standing in front of a crowd. In this book, I share everything I’ve learned about being a speaker and creative over the last 5 years of speaking internationally, in front of large and small audiences. I also dispel some of the myths around being a speaker. You don’t have to be Tony Robbins, bouncing around on stage with a booming voice and larger than life persona. You just have to be you, and tell your stories. If you're ready to improve your public speaking, download a sample or buy now.

Rachel ingázó, minden reggel felszáll ugyanarra a vonatra. A pillanat mindent megváltoztat.
Live your dreams! :Stop dreaming: how to make a dream come true

How to make your dreams come true? Here is a question that ??tortures?? many of us since we all want our dreams to come true … Isn’t it? Here is a little book that may help you navigate through the birth to the embodiment of a dream. They will show you some tools to make your dreams come true or at least show you that it is possible . The birth of this book came unexpectedly and surprisingly. I had just published my first book in the Paths to Yourself collection. It dealt with a subject that concerns many of us: how to build a healthy and lasting relationship of love or friendship? I was talking with a friend of this publication. He told me that one of his dreams was to write too, but in Thai. I replied that he can surely fulfill this dream considering that he has been speaking and writing in this language for a long time: his wife is from Laos and their language of communication is Thai. But it seemed to him a difficult dream to reach … To joke, I told him I should write a book on ??How to make one’s dreams come true??? because I have some 25 years of experience in the field … and I do not hesitate to do everything possible to realize mine. In addition, I accomplished almost all the dreams I really wanted. There is still one, still running, but which I will reveal later in this book;) . This friend told me that he would be the first to read this book if I write it one day … Putting a dream in to practice And now this new challenge, which I think will help others embody their dreams or at least part of them, has led my brain to think, almost without even wanting to, about a possible structure of this book. Barely two days passed after I had had this conversation with my friend and I was already writing it. So check out this little FREE guide to help you make your dreams come true!

The Itinerary of Benjamin of Tudela

First-hand account of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in the twelfth century. The introduction begins: "The Itinerary of Benjamin of Tudela throws a flashlight upon one of the most interesting stages in the development of nations. The history of the civilized world from the downfall of the Roman Empire to the present day may be summarized as the struggle between Cross and Crescent. This struggle is characterized by a persistent ebb and flow. Mohammed in 622 A.D. transformed, as if by magic, a cluster of Bedouin tribes into a warlike people. An Arabian Empire was formed, which reached from the Ebro to the Indus. Its further advance was stemmed in the year 732, just a hundred years after Mohammed's death, by Charles Martel, in the seven days' battle of Tours. The progress of the culture of the Arabs was as rapid as had been that of their arms. Great cities such as Cairo and Bagdad were built. Commerce and manufactures flourished. The Jews, who enjoyed protection under the benign rule of the Caliphs..."

Laughter: an Essay on the Meaning of the Comic
¥8.09
According to Wikipedia: "In the idiosyncratic Laughter: An Essay on the Meaning of the Comic, Bergson develops a theory not of laughter itself, but of how laughter can be provoked (see his objection to Delage, published in the 23rd edition of the essay). He describes the process of laughter (refusing to give a conceptual definition which would not approach its reality), used in particular by comics and clowns, as the caricature of the mechanism nature of humans (habits, automatic acts, etc.), one of the two tendencies of life (degradation towards inert matter and mechanism, and continual creation of new forms). However, Bergson warns us that laughter’s criterion of what should be laughed at is not a moral criterion and that it can in fact cause serious damage to a person’s self-esteem.This essay made his opposition to the Cartesian theory of the animal-machine obvious."
The Poetics of Aristotle

According to Wikipedia: "Aristotle's Poetics (c. 335 BCE) is the earliest surviving work of dramatic theory and the first extant philosophical treatise to focus on literary theory. In it, Aristotle offers an account of what he calls "poetry" (a term which in Greek literally means "making" and in this context includes drama—comedy, tragedy, and the satyr play—as well as lyric poetry and epic poetry)... Aristotle (384 BC – 322 BC) was a Greek philosopher, a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great. His writings cover many subjects, including physics, metaphysics, poetry, theater, music, logic, rhetoric, linguistics, politics, government, ethics, biology, and zoology. Together with Plato and Socrates (Plato's teacher), Aristotle is one of the most important founding figures in Western philosophy. Aristotle's writings were the first to create a comprehensive system of Western philosophy, encompassing morality and aesthetics, logic and science, politics and metaphysics."
