李白（701―76□）：唐代诗人。字太白，号青莲居士。自称祖籍陇西成纪（今甘肃静宁西南），隋末其先人流寓碎叶（唐时属安西都护府，在今吉尔吉斯斯坦北部）。幼时随父迁居绵州昌隆青莲乡（今四川江油市青莲镇）。少年即显露才华，吟诗作赋，博学广览，并好行侠。从□5岁起离蜀，长期在各地漫游。在唐玄宗天宝（74□―755年）初曾供奉翰林，但在政治上不受重视，又遭权贵谗毁，仅一年余即离开长安（今陕西西安）。天宝三载（744年），在洛阳（今河南洛阳）与杜甫结交。在安史之乱（755―763年）中，怀着□乱的志愿曾为永王李璘幕僚，因李璘争位失败而受牵累，流放夜郎（在今贵州正安）。中途遇赦东还。晚年漂泊困苦，卒于当涂（今安徽当涂）。 其诗表现出蔑视权贵的傲岸精神，对当时政治的腐败作了尖锐的批判；对人民的疾苦表示同情；对安史叛乱势力予以斥责，讴歌维护国家统一的正义战争；又善于描绘壮丽的自然景色，表达对祖国山河的热爱。诗风雄奇豪放，想象丰富，语言流转自然，音律和谐多变。善于从民歌、神话中吸取营养和素材，构成其特有的瑰玮绚烂色彩，是屈原以来具个性特色、浪漫精神的诗人，达到盛唐诗歌艺术的高峰。与杜甫齐名，世称“李杜”。 《李白/中小学课本里的名人传记丛书》讲述了他的蜀地生活，长安一梦，寂寞身后事等等，通过阅读《李白/中小学课本里的名人传记丛书》，广大读者可以了解李白的一生，并得到很多启迪。
