扬雄《方言》是我国部收集古今方国殊言别语的语言学著作，它的出现标志着中国古代方言学的诞生。明清以前，《方言》传本——郭注本经过一千五百多年的传抄翻刻，“讹舛相承，几不可通”。明清时期出现多个《方言》校注本，另有王念孙散见于各类著作中的《方言》遗说，以及晚清以降一些学者著作中所涉《方言》的条校条释内容，我们将这些材料加以收集整理，作为《古代方言文献丛刊》第二辑推出。 陈与郊《方言类聚》是明代一种《方言》校注本，将《方言》原文条目依《尔雅》篇目重新编为《释诂》《释言》等十六门，使以类相聚。郭璞原注则总附每节后，低一格以别之。间有双行夹注，为与郊所考订。此次整理以万历刻本为底本，用其他明本校对《类聚》所引《方言》正文，用陈与郊校语所引源文献校其按语，同时断句标。 《扬雄方言零札伍种》辑录孙诒让《札迻·方言校记》、王秉恩《宋本方言校勘记》、王国维《书方言郭璞注后》、吴承仕《经籍旧音辨证·方言郭注辩证》、吴予天的《方言注商（附补遗）》五种《方言》条校条释材料，这些成果虽然零碎，但并不缺乏价值，一些条目的考订甚至很值得重视。我们为这些材料各自选择善本行录排校，以期方便学界的阅读与研究。 书后附《方言》原文条目与《类聚》、《五种》条目对照索引，以便读者使用。

扬雄《方言》是我国部收集古今方国殊言别语的语言学著作，它的出现标志着中国古代方言学的诞生。明清以前，《方言》传本——郭注本经过一千五百多年的传抄翻刻，“讹舛相承，几不可通”。明清时期出现多个《方言》校注本，另有王念孙散见于各类著作中的《方言》遗说，以及晚清以降一些学者著作中所涉《方言》的条校条释内容，我们将这些材料加以收集整理，作为《古代方言文献丛刊》第二辑推出。 戴震是清代位对郭璞注《方言》行全面整理与研究的学者，他的《方言疏证》考辨《方言》的作者，校订传本《方言》中大量讹脱衍倒、误连误分、内容窜乱等问题，同时对《方言》原文逐条行疏通证明，取得了很重要的成就，成为后来者使用和研究《方言》的重要基础。 本书稿整理者深耕《方言》及其注家数十年，在深调查《方言疏证》存世版本的基础上，以《丛书集成初编》影印武英殿聚珍版为底本，以四库系的文渊阁本、文津阁本和遗书系的微波榭丛书本、安徽丛书本对校，校正文字、复核引文、断句标均严格按照古籍整理规范行。书后附笔画索引，以便读者使用。

《北户录》三卷，唐段公路撰，唐崔龟图注。“北户”指南方边远地区，在日之南，北边的窗户朝着太阳，即北回归线以南，概指今天的岭南地区。本书是作者在广州时所撰，记载了岭南民风、土俗、饮食、衣制、歌谣、哀乐与中原不同之处，奇形异状的草木、果蔬、虫鱼、羽毛之类，以及历史典故、民间传说等，性质与张华的《博物志》相类似。书中征引文献亦极博洽，如《淮南万毕术》、《广志》、《南越志》、《南裔异物》、《灵枝图记》、陈藏器《本草》、《唐韵》、郭缘生《述征记》、《临海异物志》、《陶朱公养鱼经》、《毛诗义》、《船神记》、《字林》、《广州记》、《扶南传》等书，今皆散佚，可以藉此书略见一二，具有重要的史料价值和文献价值。 作者段公路极有可能是《酉阳杂俎》作者段成式的次子，载的许多内容可在《酉阳杂俎》中觅得踪影和来历，可以视为《酉阳杂俎》的续篇。 许逸民先生以《丛书集成》本为底本作校勘、笺注，在考证本事与用典，引据书证力求与详备，书末附有《书目著录与版本序跋》及《主要征引书目》，以备覆案参考。
