According to Wikipedia: "The Jewish War or Judean War (in full Flavius Josephus's Books of the History of the Jewish War against the Romans) also referred to in English as The Wars of the Jews, is a book written by Josephus, a Roman-Jewish historian of the 1st century. It is a description of Jewish history from the capture of Jerusalem by the Seleucid ruler Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 164 BC to the fall and destruction of Jerusalem in the First Jewish–Roman War in 70 AD. It was followed in 1843 by the History of the Conquest of Mexico, and in 1847 by the Conquest of Peru. His last work was the History of Philip II, of which the third volume appeared in 1858, and which was left unfinished. In that year he had an apoplectic shock, and another in 1859 was the cause of his death. In all his works he displayed great research, impartiality, and an admirable narrative power. The great disadvantage at which, owing to his very imperfect vision, he worked, makes the first of these qualities specially remarkable, for his authorities in a foreign tongue were read to him, while he had to write on a frame for the blind. Prescott was a man of amiable and benevolent character, and enjoyed the friendship of many of the most distinguished men in Europe as well as in America. Padahal, syariat Islam yang agung telah menjelaskan dengan lengkap dan gamblang hukum-hukum yang berkenaan dengan masalah anak angkat ini, sehingga jika kaum muslimin mau mempelajari petunjuk Allah Ta’ala dalam agama mereka maka mestinya mereka tidak akan terjerumus dalam kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut di atas.

Jika Allah menghendaki suatu kebaikan pada diri seorang hamba, maka Dia menghadirkan di dalam hatinya bukti penguat yang membuatnya bisa membedakan hakikat dunia dan akhirat, lalu dia memprioritaskan mana yang lebih penting……

Abner Doubleday was an 1842 graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the Mexican war when he was assigned to Fort Moultrie in the summer of 1860. A Captain of Artillery, he served as second in command of the garrison at the historic fort when the curtain rose on the dramatic events leading to the outbreak of the War Between the States. Doubleday also had the distinction of aiming the first cannon fired in response to the bombardment of Fort Sumter.
