佛教有三藏十二部经、八万四千法门，典籍浩瀚，博大精深，即便是专业研究者，用其一生的精力，恐也难阅尽所有经典。加之，佛典有经律论、大小乘之分，每部佛经又有节译、别译等多种版本，因此，大藏经中所收录的典籍，也不是每一部佛典、每一种译本都非读不可。因此之故，古人有“阅藏知津”一说，意谓阅读佛典，如同过河、走路，要先知道津梁渡口或方向路标，才能顺利抵达彼岸或避免走弯路；否则只好望河兴叹或事倍功半。《佛教十三经》编译的初衷类此。面对浩如烟海的佛教典籍，究竟哪些经典应该先读，哪些论著可后读？哪部佛典是，哪种译本可选读？哪些经论较能体现佛教的基本精神，哪些撰述是*方便说？凡此等等，均不同程度影响着人们读经的效率与效果。为此，我们精心选择了对中国佛教影响较大、较能体现中国佛教基本精神的十三部佛经，举凡欲学佛或研究佛教者，均可从“十三经”手，之后再循序渐，对整个中国佛教作一步深的了解与研究。 近几十年来，中国佛教作为中国传统文化的重要组成部分及其特殊的文化、社会价值逐渐为人们所认识，研究佛教者也日渐增多。而要了解和研究佛教，首先得研读佛典。然而，佛教名相繁复，义理艰深，文字又晦涩难懂，即便有相当文史基础和哲学素养者，读来也颇感费力。为了便于佛学爱好者、研究者的阅读和把握经中之思想义理，我们对所选录的十三部佛典行了如下的诠释、注译工作：一是在每部佛经之首均置一“前言”，简要介绍该经之版本源流、内容结构、核心思想及其历史价值；二是在每一品目之前，都撰写了一个“题解”，对该品目之内容大要和主题思想行简明扼要的提炼和揭示；三是采取义译与意译相结合的原则，对所选译的经文行现代汉语的译述。这样做的目的，是希望它对原典的阅读和义理的把握能有所助益。当然，这种做法按佛门的说法，多少带有“方便设施”的性质，但愿它能成为“渡海之舟筏”，而不至于沦为“忘月之手指”。

《周易玩辞集解》十卷，清查慎行撰。查慎行，字悔余，浙江海宁人，晚筑初白庵以居，号初白老人。康熙癸未进士，官翰林院编修。此为查慎行数十年究心《周易》之结晶，参酌群言，归于至当。四库馆臣云：“其言皆明白笃实，足破外学附会之疑。”征引前人达三百八十余家，凡五易其稿，于雍正二年成书，及门弟子沈廷芳于乾隆十七年左右刻印。本书所据国家图书馆藏丰府藏书本，即为沈氏所刻，前有沈廷芳、黄叔琳、陈世倌、沈起元序，后有成城跋。卷首有《河图说》等《易》学专论十一篇。以《四库全书》本为参校本。卷首十一篇专论，稿本《查悔余文集》、《敬业堂文集》均收录，世楷堂本《昭代丛书》单列，以《易说》行世，文字略有异同，出校说明。另需说明的是，查慎行“不惑于图书”，“谓变卦为朱子之《易》”，这与学宗伊川的项安世《周易玩辞》大异其趣。

扬雄《方言》是我国部收集古今方国殊言别语的语言学著作，它的出现标志着中国古代方言学的诞生。明清以前，《方言》传本——郭注本经过一千五百多年的传抄翻刻，“讹舛相承，几不可通”。明清时期出现多个《方言》校注本，另有王念孙散见于各类著作中的《方言》遗说，以及晚清以降一些学者著作中所涉《方言》的条校条释内容，我们将这些材料加以收集整理，作为《古代方言文献丛刊》第二辑推出。 卢文弨《重校方言》是继戴震《方言疏证》之后清人的第二个校本。“论学识卢不如戴，论详审戴不如卢”，卢氏在搜集版本资料的完备性和运用理校考证勘误方面成就较高。《重校方言》和《补遗》有乾隆四十九年抱经堂丛书本、同治十二年古经解汇函本以及该本的光绪十四年蜚英馆石印本、光绪十五年湘南书局刻本等，此书从未整理。此次以抱经堂丛书本为底本，参校其他版本和抱经堂本的各种名家题跋本予以勘正，同时核校卢氏引文，全部标断句。 刘台拱《方言补校》直针对卢文弨校本，或补缺拾疑，或订正卢校，或证成卢说，今人认为戴、卢两家之后“刘校精”。本次整理以道光十四年《刘端临先生遗书》本为底本，以光绪十五年广雅书局本参校。 书后附笔画索引，以便读者使用。

《海宁市档案馆藏抗战英烈事迹档案汇编》选取海宁市档案馆馆藏海宁籍文史学家吴其昌档案中的抗战档案进行编纂。吴其昌（一九〇四至一九四四年），字子馨，号正厂，浙江海宁硖石人。一九二一年入无锡国学专修馆，从唐文治先生治宋明理学。一九二五年，入清华学校研究院，从梁启超治文化学术史及宋史，从王国维治甲骨金文及古史。历任私立南开大学讲师、国立北平图书馆特约编辑委员、国立清华大学专任讲师、国立武汉大学史学系教授。全面抗战爆发后，随国立武汉大学西迁四川乐山，任教史学系直至逝世。《海宁市档案馆藏抗战英烈事迹档案汇编》选用档案起自1938年至1940年，共分为四个部分。部分，忠义事迹征访表一百三十件，按照团级部队的番号分组排序；第二部分，五临战役绥西民众协助抗战史迹一件；第三部分，抗战护国贤豪事迹（传记）四件。抗战护国贤豪事迹（传记），记述了国民政府对抗日战士褒扬、表扬及特恤等人员的事迹或传记；第四部分，信件封面二件，分别载有“本件系军令部送来，拟寄与吴其昌先生参考”、“拟收附件寄与吴其昌先生参考文存查”，署名“斌佳”。
