Hands-On Deep Learning for IoT
¥62.12
Implement popular deep learning techniques to make your IoT applications smarter Key Features ?Understand how deep learning facilitates fast and accurate analytics in IoT ?Build intelligent voice and speech recognition apps in TensorFlow and Chainer ?Analyze IoT data for making automated decisions and efficient predictions Book Description Artificial Intelligence is growing quickly, which is driven by advancements in neural networks(NN) and deep learning (DL). With an increase in investments in smart cities, smart healthcare, and industrial Internet of Things (IoT), commercialization of IoT will soon be at peak in which massive amounts of data generated by IoT devices need to be processed at scale. Hands-On Deep Learning for IoT will provide deeper insights into IoT data, which will start by introducing how DL fits into the context of making IoT applications smarter. It then covers how to build deep architectures using TensorFlow, Keras, and Chainer for IoT. You’ll learn how to train convolutional neural networks(CNN) to develop applications for image-based road faults detection and smart garbage separation, followed by implementing voice-initiated smart light control and home access mechanisms powered by recurrent neural networks(RNN). You’ll master IoT applications for indoor localization, predictive maintenance, and locating equipment in a large hospital using autoencoders, DeepFi, and LSTM networks. Furthermore, you’ll learn IoT application development for healthcare with IoT security enhanced. By the end of this book, you will have sufficient knowledge need to use deep learning efficiently to power your IoT-based applications for smarter decision making. What you will learn ?Get acquainted with different neural network architectures and their suitability in IoT ?Understand how deep learning can improve the predictive power in your IoT solutions ?Capture and process streaming data for predictive maintenance ?Select optimal frameworks for image recognition and indoor localization ?Analyze voice data for speech recognition in IoT applications ?Develop deep learning-based IoT solutions for healthcare ?Enhance security in your IoT solutions ?Visualize analyzed data to uncover insights and perform accurate predictions Who this book is for If you’re an IoT developer, data scientist, or deep learning enthusiast who wants to apply deep learning techniques to build smart IoT applications, this book is for you. Familiarity with machine learning, a basic understanding of the IoT concepts, and some experience in Python programming will help you get the most out of this book. Table of Contents 1.End-to-End Life Cycle of IoT 2.Deep Learning Architectures for IoT 3.Image Recognition in IoT 4.Audio/Speech/Voice Recognition in IoT 5.Indoor localization in IoT 6.Physiological and Psychological State Detection in IoT 7.Security and privacy for IoT 8.Predictive Maintenance for IoT 9.Deep learning in Healthcare IoT 10.What’s next: Wrapping Up and Future Directions
Poetry of the Gods
¥9.00
Poetry and the Gods is a short story by horror writer and poet H.P. Lovecraft in collaboration with writer Anna Helen Crofts. The story is very different from the vast majority of Lovecraft's other work and collaborations. It does, however, bear similar themes regarding dreams as a doorway to magic realms, and slumbering gods. The narrative follows the dream-voyage of Marcia, a young woman filled with weariness of the mundane world and all its woes. She resolves to ease her troubled soul by reading a magazine of poetry. As she does, a dream-state unfolds in which the Greek god Hermes appears and bears Marcia to the court of Zeus and the Olympians.
The Horror at Martin's Beach
¥8.98
Sailors kill a 50-foot creature at sea after a lengthy battle. The creature bears strange anatomical irregularities such as a single large eye and rudimentary forelegs and six-toed feet in place of pectoral fins. After inspection by marine biologists, it is revealed to be just a juvenile. The captain who captured the creature tours the coast and profits from the corpse of the deceased creature. As the captain attempts to finish his business at Martin's Beach, a group of swimmers are attacked. The captain and others attempt to rescue the victims but it is too late. The rescuers and the captain are hypnotized and pulled into the water by the creature's apparently vengeful mother, to the horror of an onlooking crowd.

STORIES:?OLE LUCKOIE, (SHUT-EYE.)?MONDAY.?TUESDAY.?WEDNESDAY.?THURSDAY.?FRIDAY.?SATURDAY.?SUNDAY.?THE DAISY.?THE NAUGHTY BOY.?TOMMELISE.?THE ROSE-ELF.?THE GARDEN OF PARADISE.?A NIGHT IN THE KITCHEN.?LITTLE IDA'S FLOWERS.?THE CONSTANT TIN SOLDIER.?THE STORKS.??There is nobody in all this world who knows so many tales as Ole Luckoie! He can tell tales! In an evening, when a child sits so nicely at the table, or on its little stool, Ole Luckoie comes. He comes so quietly into the house, for he walks without shoes; he opens the door without making any noise, and then he flirts sweet milk into the children's eyes; but so gently, so very gently, that they cannot keep their eyes open, and, therefore, they never see him; he steals softly behind them and blows gently on their necks, and thus their heads become heavy. ??Oh yes! But then it does them no harm; for Ole Luckoie means nothing but kindness to the children, he only wants to amuse them; and the best thing that can be done is for somebody to carry them to bed, where they may lie still and listen to the tales that he will tell them.
The Dunwich Horror
¥9.00
In H.P. Lovecraft’s, "The Dunwich Horror", we are told the story of Wilbur Whateley, the son of a deformed albino mother and an unknown father (alluded to in passing by the mad Old Whateley as "Yog-Sothoth"), and the strange events surrounding his birth and precocious development. Wilbur matures at an abnormal rate, reaching manhood within a decade. All the while, his sorcerer grandfather indoctrinates him into certain dark rituals and the study of witchcraft.
