Prophet Isa Ibn Maryam or Prophet Jesus in the New Testament, is considered to be a Messenger of God and al-Masih (the Messiah) in Islam. Who was sent to guide the Children of Israel (bani israil) with a new scripture, al-Injil (the Gospel).The belief that Jesus is a prophet is required in Islam. This is reflected in the fact that he is clearly a significant figure in the Qur’an, appearing in 93 ayaat (or verses), though Noah, Adam and Moses appear with even greater frequency. It states that Jesus was born to Mary (Arabic: Maryam) as the result of virginal conception, a miraculous event which occurred by the decree of God (Arabic: Allah). To aid in his ministry to the Jewish people, Jesus was given the ability to perform miracles (such as healing the blind, bringing dead people back to life, etc. which no other prophet in Islam has ever been credited with, all by the permission of God rather than of his own power. According to the Quran, Jesus, although appearing to have been crucified, was not killed by crucifixion or by any other means; instead, "God raised him unto Himself". In the 19th Sura of the Quran (in verses 15 and 33), Jesus is blessed on "the day he was born and the day he will die and the day he is raised alive", which clearly declares that Prophet Jesus (Isa) will experience a natural death, and will be raised again on the day of judgment. Like all prophets in Islam, Prophet Jesus is considered a Muslim (i.e., one who submits to the will of God), as he preached that his followers should adopt the "straight path" as commanded by God. Traditionally, Islam teaches the rejection of the Trinitarian Christian view that Jesus was God incarnate or the son of God. The Quran says that Prophet Jesus (Isa) himself never claimed to be the Son of God, and it furthermore indicates that Jesus will deny having ever claimed divinity at the Last Judgment, and God will vindicate him. Islamic texts forbid the association of partners with God (shirk), emphasizing a strict notion of monotheism (tawhid). (Verily, the likeness of Jesus before Allah is the likeness of Adam. Prophet Musa ibn Amram known as Prophet Moses in the Hebrew Bible, is considered a prophet, messenger, and leader in Islam. In Islamic tradition instead of introducing a new religion, Moses is regarded by Muslims as teaching and practicing the religion of his predecessors and confirming the scriptures and prophets before him. The Quran states that Moses was sent by God (Arabic: ????? Allāh) to the Pharaoh of Egypt and the Israelites for guidance and warning. Moses is mentioned more in the Quran than any other individual, and his life is narrated and recounted more than that of any other prophet. According to Islam, all Muslims must have faith in every prophet (nabi) and messengers (rasul) which includes Moses and his brother Aaron (Harun). Moses is considered to be a prophetic predecessor to Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad SAW, in many of his sayings, speaks of Prophet Aaron. In the event of the Mi'raj, his miraculous ascension through the Heavens, Muhammad is said to have encountered Aaron in the fifth heaven. Most of his kinsmen lacked in spirit of true faith. ?As they were seduced, they were inclined to doing evil deeds. They were going out of the right path. ?The Prophet Zakariya (peace be upon him) was much anxious about this state of affairs. ?He had no offspring and there was no suitable person to hold the office of priesthood of Hekal after his death. ?He was ?desirous of having a son to become his good successor. ?He did not long for a son to satisfy a mere ?human desire for one's progeny. ?He wanted to have a son to maintain the warmth of religious activities. ?One night he stood in prayer in his sanctuary and prayed to Allah to bless him with a good son. ?He was conscious that he was in an advanced age and his wife was barren and unable to raise any issue. ?He had full faith in Allah Who possesses power to do whatever He wills. ?He came to know through his prophetic insight that Allah would grant his request. ?He would be blessed with a good son to act as his heir who could guide the people aright. Prophet John or Yahya is also honored as a prophet in Islam as Ya?yā ibn Zakarīyā (Arabic: ???? ?? ??????), or "John, son of Zechariah". He is believed by Muslims to have been a witness to the word of God, and a prophet who would herald the coming of Jesus. His father Zechariah was also an Islamic prophet. Islamic tradition maintains that John was one of the prophets whom Muhammad met on the night of the Mi'raj, his ascension through the Seven Heavens. It is said that he met John and Jesus in the second heaven, where Muhammad greeted his two 'brothers' before ascending with archangel Gabriel to the third heaven. John's story was also told to the Abyssinian king during the Muslim refugees' Migration to Abyssinia. According to the Qur'an, John was one on whom God sent peace on the day that he was born and the day that he died. John is also honored highly in Sufism as well as Islamic mysticism, primarily because of the Qur'an's description of John's chastity and kindness. Sufis have frequently applied commentaries on the passages on John in the Qur'an, primarily concerning the God-given gift of "Wisdom" which he acquired in youth as well as his parallels with Jesus. Although several phrases used to describe John and Jesus are virtually identical in the Qur'an, the manner in which they are expressed is different. The Prophet Yahya (peace be upon him) was the precursor of Prophet Isa (Jesus Christ). ?He was his cousin and contemporary as well. ?His fidelity to his mission as a preacher soon deprived him of his liberty and subsequently his life.

Suddenly an ancient man stood before him, leaning on a staff, who said: “What do you lack since you complain so?” “I am dying of hunger,” replied Du Dsi Tschun, “and not a soul will take pity on me!” The ancient man said: “How much money would you need in order to live in all comfort?” “If I had fifty thousand pieces of copper it would answer my purpose,” replied Du Dsi Tschun. The ancient said: “That would not answer.” “Well, then, a million!” “That is still too little!” “Well, then, three million!” The ancient man said: “That is well spoken!” He fetched a thousand pieces of copper out of his sleeve and said: “That is for this evening. Expect me to-morrow by noon, at the Persian Bazaar!” At the time set Du Dsi Tschun went there, and, sure enough, there was the ancient, who gave him three million pieces of copper. Then he disappeared, without giving his name.

Prophet David, or Dawud, is recognized in Islam as a prophet, messenger (Rasul), and lawgiver of God, and as a righteous king of the United Kingdom of Israel, which itself is a holy country in Islam. He similarly figures prominently in the Torah and the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. David is perhaps most famous in Islam for defeating the Philistine giant Goliath (Jalut), when he was a soldier in the army of King Saul's (Talut). His genealogy goes back through Judah, the son of Prophet Jacob (Ya'qub), to Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim). The figure of Prophet David is of extreme importance in Islam because he was one of the few prophets to receive a named revealed book. It says in the Quran that the Zabur, the Biblical Psalms, were given to David. David's son, Prophet Solomon (Sulaiman), took over the task of prophecy after his death and he was made the subsequent King of Israel. The Judeo-Christian and Islamic views of David, however, differ in some aspects. Muslims generally do not accept the sins of adultery and murder attributed to David in the Hebrew Bible, as they feel that prophets – in their belief the utmost chosen and elect of God – would never commit such grave crimes. Prophet Solomon or Sulaiman was, according to the Qur'an, a king of ancient Israel as well as the son of Prophet David (Dawud). The Qur'an recognizes Solomon as a prophet and a divinely-appointed monarch. Islamic tradition generally holds that Solomon was the third king of Israel and was a just and wise ruler for the nation. Islam views Prophet Solomon or Sulaiman as one of the elect of God, who was bestowed upon with many God-given gifts, including the ability to speak to animals and control jinn (demons). Muslims further maintain that Solomon remained faithful to a one and only God throughout his life; constructed the Temple of Solomon, which became one of the key houses of worship; reigned justly over the whole of the Kingdom of Israel; was blessed with a level of kingship which was given to none after him; and fulfilled all of his commandments, being promised nearness to God in Heaven at the end of his life.? Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon) remains one of the most commemorated and popular holy figures in Islam.
